A Lithuanian-licensed bank working hard to look Belgian
Some of its ads mention a Belgian IBAN or 900,000 to a million Belgian users, and they run in both French and Dutch. In our reading, these signals make a foreign app feel safe enough for your salary.

Five things their ads show
Cards fill the feed, paid plans get seen
Nearly a third of their ads show off card designs, and many of those only started in October. The ads most likely to be both widely seen and long-running sell Revolut’s paid plans, Metal and Ultra.
A campaign type is what the ad sells, coded from its pictures and videos. EU reach adds up per ad, so a person reached by two ads counts twice.
Revolut sells aspiration more than solutions
Nearly half of their ads sell a nicer card or perks. About a third cover everyday banking: switching banks, travel or splitting the bill. Aspiration over solutions is our reading of that mix.
Each customer type How often each type’s ads held up, and the people their ads reached. Click a row to see its ads.
One teen ad, ranked #6, was aimed at Ireland and still reached Belgium, so it stays in the counts but is not part of the Belgian offer. Customer types are coded from the pictures and videos, since most ads share the same generic ad text.
Awards and price comparisons held up best
Ads that open with an award or a price comparison hold up nearly twice as often as card-in-hand pictures, their most common format.

The card is the star, not the app
Over two in five ads are built around the card, and none of the app-screen ads reached the top 100. In our reading, Revolut sells the object, not the interface.
One creative is one picture or video, counted once across its sizes. Each ad gets the format of the card that carries its message.
Volume grew from May; cards led from July
After a quiet start, volume grew from May, led first by cost-sharing ads and then by savings and investing ads. From July card design led every month, peaking in October with a wave of virtual-card ads.
Their testing calendar New ads per month since November 2025, split into new ideas and ideas they kept feeding.
Orange bars are card design ads, purple bars paid plan ads, grey the rest. The last week holds one day, 2 November.
Few ideas, refreshed for months
They run about two dozen ideas and keep feeding them new pictures for about half a year, rather than testing many new ones.

They keep swapping ads; few run for long
Most ads stop within a month, and none of the ads that ran a week or less made the top 100.
Their longest-running ads one per creative
Short bursts are ads in the top 100 that stopped within 30 days. .
Ads with a concrete reason reach furthest
Only one ad in ten gives a concrete reason to join or upgrade: a price comparison with ING, an award, or the perks of the paid Metal plan. Yet these ads reach the most people per ad.
We read the stage from the format of the card that carries the message. It is the ad’s role, not who saw it.
App store links fill the top 100
Ads that link to the App Store or Google Play make most of the top 100; sign-up pages rarely do.
